Ireland's first ever "climate camp" is getting underway in Co. Offaly today.
Activists from around the country are gathering in Shannonbridge to highlight the impact of the area's peat-burning power station on the climate.
They want to raise awareness of the fact that peat is the most climate-polluting fossil fuel which is burned here for electricity.
The camp will continue for the next nine days and will promote sustainable living and climate justice.
