114 arrests made at Oxegen music festival

Gardaí say 114 people were arrested at the Oxegen festival in Punchestown over the weekend.

The arrests were made for public order breaches, assaults, road traffic infringements and drugs offences.

Around 72,000 people attended each day of the three-day music festival, which came to an end last night.

The campsites remain open this afternoon to allow tired revellers leave in their own time.
