Top forecaster predicts ‘normal’ summer weather

How AccuWeather sees our summer weather developing this year

Normal summer weather is predicted across the UK and Ireland by AccuWeather, the American company which claims to be the world’s most accurate weather forecaster.

No long-lasting heat or week-long washouts are predicted. Instead the expected pattern is occasional rainfall for a day or two, followed by several days of dry weather. Accuweather says an up-and-down temperature pattern is likely.

In contrast, hot and dry weather expected across Italy and the Balkans and eastern Europe is predicted, which may damage crops in the Ukraine.

Rounds of severe thunderstorms are predicted for countries from France to Poland and the Czech Republic. The Iberian Peninsula can expect a hot and largely dry summer.
