Stabbing at Jay-Z's 40/40 Club

A man is recovering in hospital after he was stabbed in the eye at JAY-Z's 40/40 club in New York at the weekend.

Christopher Harris, a 26-year-old Correction Academy cadet, was rushed to nearby St. Vincent's Hospital after a dispute with a fellow clubber in the early hours of Saturday morning.

He was treated for cuts to the face and doctors have assured Harris he will not lose his sight.

New York police have arrested Neville Dangou in connection with the attack, and the 30-year-old has been charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon.

He was released on bail shortly after he was taken into custody.
