'Heroes' actress Hayden: Mag picture made me hate my body

Hayden Panettiere has revealed that she used to suffer from body dysmorphia.

The former 'Heroes' actress said she developed the condition – where people are excessively worried about a part of their body which they perceive to have a defect – after a magazine published an unflattering photo of her bottom emblazoned with the word 'cellulite' when she was in her teens, reports Us Weekly.

The 23-year-old told Women’s Health magazine: “I was mortified. It gave me such body dysmorphia for so long.

“But I remember reminding myself that beauty is an opinion, not a fact, and it has always made me feel better.”
