This week the remaining Apprentice 2016 candidates had the opportunity to push their imagination and design skills to the limit by creating their own virtual reality games, before pitching them to enthusiasts and industry experts at the London Comic Con exhibition.
Initially, the artistic possibilities seemed limitless. What designs would they conjure up? What magical themes would they invent? But most importantly, what names would they choose?
Well, the two teams chose Magic Shells and Gordon’s Lost His Badger.
Who loses a badger? that's just reckless #TheApprentice— LouiseWoodwardStyles (@MsCityRedGirl) December 1, 2016
Yes, the team led by Trishna, after much thought, landed on the name Gordon’s Lost His Badger…
The badger’s name was Astro Badger. This is him, by the way.
As you can imagine, viewers had a lot to say about the seemingly lazy game name.
Watch out Call of Duty and Grand Theft Auto coz Gordon's Lost his Badger #TheApprentice 😂😂😂— MrCynical (@DaveLogan3) December 1, 2016
Oh wait. The other team have called their game Gordon's Lost His Badger. Magic Shells suddenly seems genius. #TheApprentice— Niamh Devereux (@_niamhdev_) December 1, 2016
Gordons Lost His Badger.... ..... ..... ..... what? #TheApprentice— 50dw50 (@50dw50) December 1, 2016
So, surely they lost the task with a name like that, right?
Gordon has lost this task (if they use that name) #TheApprentice— Luke Marsden (@LukeMarsden) December 1, 2016
Wrong. They won and team Magic Shells was left to battle it out in the boardroom – proving that, yes, miracles do happen.
