Ryanair today announced that its June traffic increased by 13% to 5.8 million passengers, a new monthly record.
In a statement, the budget airline also said it carried over 60 million passengers in the 12 months to the end of June – a new annual traffic record.
“Ryanair is now on course to carry 67 million passengers in our full year," said company spokesman Stephen McNamara, again criticising the Government's €10 tourist levy in light of declining visitor numbers.
