Kodak to cease camera production

Kodak, the company that invented the hand-held camera and the digital camera, is getting out of the business altogether.

The company, which is bankrupt and trying to restructure, will instead try to licence its brand name to other camera makers.

It will then concentrate on photo and computer printing. The move will result in hundreds of job losses at its headquarters in New York.
