Cullen to close two car dealerships

Celebrity car dealer Bill Cullen is to close two of his garages with the loss of 29 jobs.

Twenty staff are to lose their jobs at his Renault dealership in Galway where they were told of the closure yesterday.

The sales department at the Tuam Road operation will close this Friday while the service department will wind down on July 6.

Mr Cullen is also closing his Renault business in Ennis, Co. Clare, with the loss of nine jobs.

His dealerships in Dublin will continue to operate as normal.
