Brazil: Boy, 16 admits killing 12 people
3/28/2008 - 5:17:16 PMA boy of 16 has confessed to murdering 12 people over the past three months in Brazil.
The teenager, whose identity was not revealed, told police he killed his victims in a fit or rage or out of revenge, but police inspector Enizaldo Jose Plentz said he believes the boy killed some for enjoyment.
He said police have enough evidence to prove that the teenager, an unemployed school dropout, shot dead at least six of the 12 people he says he killed.
Police investigating the murder of a 39-year-old shop owner earlier this week, arrested the boy at his home in the city of Novo Hamburgo, Plentz said.
