Govt announces €3m in humanitarian aid for Iraq

The Government has announced almost €3m in humanitarian aid for Iraq. Pictured: Overseas Development Minister Peter Power.The Government has announced almost €3m in humanitarian aid for Iraq.

More than €2.9m is being distributed by Irish Aid to the UN and the Red Cross for Iraq.

Announcing the funding, Overseas Development Minister Peter Power said Iraq was currently experiencing one of the most serious displacement crises in the world.
