Flanker Newlands to face Leinster

Edinburgh coach Andy Robinson has been forced to put flanker Scott Newlands in for the injured Alan MacDonald in the only change to his side away to Leinster in the MagnerEdinburgh coach Andy Robinson has been forced to put flanker Scott Newlands in for the injured Alan MacDonald in the only change to his side away to Leinster in the Magner's League on Friday night.

Centre Calum MacRae is aiming to help Edinburgh return to winning ways at Leinster on Friday night – the venue where he made his debut in the Black and Red nine months ago.

MacRae said: “Last week against Munster we all started a wee bit flat, so it is up to us individually get ourselves right. It is a collective effort, but the aspect that will enable the team to fire is if everyone is doing their individual jobs.

“I’ll be looking to do the role that the coaches have asked me to carry out to the best of my ability and everyone else is on that wavelength.



“The only thing we are concentrating on is delivering an accurate first 20 minutes which will give us the best possible chance.”
