Newcastle were beaten for a second time in the Mallorca Cup as they went down to the host side at Ono Estadi last night.

Mario Suarez scored the only goal of the game after just six minutes when he glanced home a testing ball from the left.

The Magpies produced a competitive performance but it was the Primera Liga side that went closest to another goal when Juan Arango's free-kick shaved the bar.
