Queudrue back for Birmingham

Franck Queudrue has been handed his first Birmingham start for two months in today's home Premier League clash with Manchester City.

Queudrue, who last featured in the first 11 against Sunderland on January 29, comes into the centre of defence in place of the suspended Liam Ridgewell.

Blues boss Alex McLeish has made one other change from the side beaten at Reading, with skipper Damien Johnson recalled in midfield in place of Mehdi Nafti.

Manchester City boss Sven-Goran Eriksson has made three changes from the line-up which fought out a goalless draw at Bolton.

Dietmar Hamann - back after suspension - Sun Jihai and Elano have been recalled in place of Vedran Corluka, Martin Petrov and Michael Johnson.



Birmingham: Maik Taylor, Kelly, Jaidi, Queudrue, Murphy, Larsson, Muamba, Johnson, McSheffrey, Forssell, Zarate.

Subs: Doyle, O’Connor, Jerome, Nafti, Parnaby.

Man City: Hart, Jihai, Onuoha, Dunne, Garrido, Vassell, Gelson, Hamann, Ireland, Elano, Mwaruwari.

Subs: Isaksson, Geovanni, Mpenza, Corluka, Caicedo.
