Offaly 4-22 Kilkenny 1-06

Offaly confirmed their place in the Division 4 final today after a facile 25-point win over Kilkenny at O'Connor Park, Tullamore.

A goal from Philip Roche guided Kilkenny into an early 1-01 to 0-00 lead, but this was as good as it got for the Cats.

Niall McNamee and David Egan were outstanding for the hosts with McNamee top-scoring with 2-06 and Egan kicking 2-02.

Offaly face third-from-bottom Clare next Sunday, while the Cats chase their first league points against London at Freshford.
