O'Sé back to bolster Kerry
27/03/2008 - 08:47:34

All Star midfielder Darragh O'Sé is to make his first start of the season for Kerry having been named in the Kingdom side for Saturday's NFL Division 1A meeting with Laois (Portlaoise, throw-in 7pm).

O'Sé will link up with Seamus Scanlon in midfield for a game which will mark the senior debut of Tommy Walsh.

Walsh, who hails from the Kerins O'Rahillys club, is a son of Kerry legend Sean Walsh and he kicked some crucial scores in the Kerry U-21s' victory over Munster champions Cork last weekend.

The young attacker will line out at full-forward for the seniors' clash with Laois, taking over from the suspended Kieran Donaghy.

In the only other change to the side that lost 0-16 to 1-12 to Mayo last time out, Kerry manager Pat O'Shea has opted to swap his goalkeepers, with Kieran Cremin replacing Diarmuid Murphy.

KERRY (NFL v Laois): K Cremin; M O'Se, T O'Sullivan, P Reidy; T O'Se, A O'Mahony, T Griffin; D O'Se, S Scanlon; D Walsh, E Brosnan, A Maher; D O'Sullivan, T Walsh, B Sheehan.
