Late goal earns Derry a point

Shamrock Rovers 1 Derry City 1


Conor Sammon scored a late equaliser for Derry to deprive Shamrock Rovers of a first win in six games.

Sammon struck to score Derry's first league goal in five games on 72 minutes.

Padraig Amond had put Rovers in front from a 31st minute penalty.
