Judgement reserved in Taoiseach's challenge to Mahon Tribunal
02/04/2008 - 16:11:20

Judgment has been reserved in the challenge by the Taoiseach to aspects of the Mahon Tribunal's investigation into his financial affairs in the early 1990s.

Central to his action is his claim of privilege over documents relating to advice to his solicitors from banking expert Paddy Stronge.

Bertie Ahern is due back before Mahon on May 20, and a judgment is expected before that date.
