Confusion surrounding Kerry deaths
28/03/2008 - 07:24:37

Gardaí in Co Kerry are still tying to establish the sequence of events which led to the deaths of a father and son at their home in Moyvane.

Fifty-four-year-old Michael Hanrahan and his 27-year-old son Denis were found dead at the remote farmhouse yesterday morning by a relative.

They are believed to have died from gunshot wounds.

A murder-suicide was initially suspected, but detectives have not found the gun used in the killings, suggesting that both men were murdered.

Gardaí are expected to provide an update on their investigation at some stage today.
