Lisbon opponents stage protest at Swedish Embassy

Opponents of the Lisbon Treaty have staged a protest outside the Swedish Embassy in Dublin today.

The demonstration was arranged by the People's Movement following the Swedish parliament's ratification of the treaty today.

The People's Movement says the Irish Government should have told other EU countries that ratification is pointless as the treaty has been vetoed by Irish voters.
