FF councillors to quiz Taoiseach on Budget cuts

The Taoiseach is set to be quizzed by Fianna Fáil county councillors at an annual conference in Co Offaly today.

Brian Cowen is expected to face tough questions on last month's controversial Budget.

Around 200 Fianna Fáil county councillors from around the country are in the Tullamore Court Hotel today for the National Councillors' Forum Annual Conference.

The Tánaiste and Enterprise Minister Mary Coughlan will speak at the event, along with the Transport Minister Noel Dempsey, the Education Minister Batt O'Keeffe and the Agriculture Minister Brendan Smith.

All of the Ministers will take part in a questions and answers session on their various roles in the Budget.
