Finance Minister Brian Lenihan had a tonne of coal dumped on the doorstep of his new office today by campaigners for action on climate change.

New Taoiseach Brian Cowen will be back in the office this evening facing into 3,000 postcards from schoolchildren around Ireland pressuring the government to push China to tackle their human rights record.
