Kitt to quit politics after Cabinet reshuffle 08/05/2008 - 12:15:45 Former Government Chief Whip Tom Kitt has announced his intention to quit politics at the next general election. The Dublin South TD was the only person to be dropped by Brian Cowen in the Cabinet reshuffle announced yesterday. Mr Kitt says he was offered a position as junior minister, but turned it down.
