08/05/2008 - 07:43:32

Gardaí are appealing for help in identifying a man who sustained serious injuries during an assault in Dublin’s north inner city early yesterday morning.

The victim sustained his injuries during an altercation involving a number of men at the entrance to Larkin College on Cathal Brugha Street.

The other men are believed to have left the scene in a car

The injured man is described as being between 25 and 30 years of age, 5' 9" tall, of average build with brown receding hair.

He was wearing grey tracksuit bottoms and a gold chain and locket around his neck.
