O'Callaghan giving evidence to Mahon Tribunal today
18/06/2008 - 12:39:47

Property developer Owen O'Callaghan is giving evidence to the Mahon Tribunal today as part of its investigation into the Quarryvale development.

Rival developer Tom Gilmartin has claimed Mr O'Callaghan boasted about giving IRĀ£80,000 to Bertie Ahern in return for supporting the development.

Mr O'Callaghan and Mr Ahern have both denied the allegation, which has prompted the tribunal's long-running investigation into the former Taoiseach's finances in the 1990s.
