Celia Larkin has told the Planning Tribunal that she received a loan of IR£45,510 from Bertie Ahern prior to re-paying the loan she received from Fianna Fáil to purchase a house for her aunts in 1993.Celia Larkin has told the Planning Tribunal that she received a loan of IR£45,510 from Bertie Ahern prior to re-paying the loan she received from Fianna Fáil to purchase a house for her aunts in 1993.

The Inquiry heard that following adverse publicity last December Ms Larkin opted to re-pay the loan of IR£30,000, which came to IR£45,510 including interest.

However as she was going through some difficulty selling her own home at the time, Bertie Ahern gave Ms Larkin a loan to cover the sum she owed to the St Lukes Trust.
