Another OK performance from Wilson in another OK film that, at its heart, looks frayed around the edges as though it was conceived as an afterthought, with no emphasis on the thought.
Wilson plays Taylor who takes on the task of keeping a bully away from three nerds – initially with the intention of taking them to the cleaners, but gradually with the notion that he actually likes them.
And, really, that’s about it. Everybody does what’s expected of them, pockets the money and goes home without having left any lasting impression.
