Harry Potter premiere wows Japanese fans

Japan rolled out the red carpet for the world's most celebrated wizard today for the premiere of 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix', the fifth movie from JK Rowling's mega-hit fantasy series.

Hundreds of young Japanese fans, donned colourful wigs and witch costumes, screamed to welcome Daniel Radcliffe, playing teenage Harry.

'Order of the Phoenix', which opens in the the UK on July 12, is directed by David Yates, a Briton best known for the multi-layered TV thrillers 'State of Play' and 'Sex Traffic'.
