Family will find many delights at the Wonder Emporium 09/05/2008 - 19:52:40
‘Mr Magorium’s Wonder Emporium’ (Icon, €24.99) is perfect fun for all the family, an enchanting tale which never wipes the smile from your face all through.
Dustin Hoffman is the 243-year-old Mr Magorium, whose stores feature toys that come to life.
But when his less-than-secure apprentice Molly (Natalie Portman) takes over, all hell breaks loose as the store rebels.
Thanks to youngster Eric (Zach Mills), prickly accountant Henry (Jason Bateman) and the efforts of Magorium himself, events take a magical turn for the better.
Decent family entertainment has been rather thin on the ground so you’ll love this.
