From Dreamworks comes this entertaining, if not original, animated tale of a podgy panda (Panda) who dreams of becoming a Kung Fu hero and gets his chance when he’s selected as the one to save us all from evil.
It’s really what you would expect: our unlikely hero makes slow and often ham-fisted progress in training, he’s surrounded by a collection of amusing, annoying and charming friends and foes.
There’s lots of action and in the end, while the film doesn’t nudge back any barriers, you’ll leave feeling mildly entertained.
