Martin confident opposition will join Lisbon committee
28/07/2008 - 10:02:46

The Minister for Foreign Affairs says he is confident that opposition parties will join an all-party Dáil committee to discuss the fall-out from the Lisbon Treaty referendum.

Micheál Martin has contacted both Fine Gael and Labour to get their views on how the body should proceed.

Speaking about the matter today, he said the move was aimed at gathering views on the way forward following the rejection of the Lisbon Treaty by Irish voters.
