Irish firms secure €29m worth of contracts in California
28/03/2008 - 07:50:45

Ten companies have secured new contracts worth €29m during an Enterprise Ireland trade mission to Silicon Valley in California this week.

The announcement has been made by Enterprise Minister Micheal Martin, who is leading the trade delegation.

He says Irish companies are currently investing record sums in the US, with total investment increasing 10-fold over the past decade.

Ireland is now the 10th largest investor in the US.
