Fireworks in store as leaders host Drogs

Airtricity League Premier Division leaders Sligo Rovers face one of their toughest tests of the season this evening when they host second-placed Drogheda United at the Showgrounds (7.45pm).

Mick Cooke’s United know a victory would put them top and extend an astonishing run of form which has seen the league’s surprise package win their last six league games.

“We all know what’s at stake, both sides do, so we won’t be going there expecting anything less than a tough match,” said Cooke.
