BUILT, or unbuilt? Those hankering after a detached home in the Lee Valley’s Coachford community have another option now with young building firm O’Flynn Homes.
They are offering serviced sites for detached houses at their Cnoic Eoin development half an hour from Cork city, priced at €150,000 each, with full planning permission already in place for three house types. Alternatively, a buyer can chose to build to their own design, subject to planning permission.
The development first launched in spring of 2009, with showhouses for the house types completed by builders and siblings Tony, Finbarr and Trish O’Flynn, whose father Denis is one of Cork’s largest developers, trading since 1973.
Now, prices for finished product are back to €360,000 for detached 1,700 sq ft houses, up to €380,000 for 2,100 sq ft homes. Launch prices last year were from €430,000, so they’ve been swiftly adjusted.
For those keen to build to their own finish, possibly to an altered design, and at their own pace, the sites offers just being made now via agents Sherry FitzGerald broaden the appeal and mix at Cnoic Eoin. Sherry FitzGerald also have two house type showhouses on view.
Right at the heart of the well-serviced village community, and overlooking Aghabullogue playing pitches, Cnoc Eoin has 26 house sites in all.
