THE argument that "Irish women are going abroad to have abortions anyway, so why not let them have them here?" doesn’t make sense.
Some Irish people go to Thailand and the Philippines to abuse children. Does that mean we should let them do it here? Some Irish people go to other countries to take hard drugs legally. Ditto?
The pro-abortion group should be known as just that. How can they call themselves pro-choice? What choice does the unborn human being have?
This liberal attitude that "everyone else in the world’s at it ... we’re a laughing stock ... let’s go along with them for a peaceful life" isn’t taking into account that we are talking about human life here.
