A SMALL parcel, to be sure, but also an easy buy is 14 Post Office Avenue in Cork city’s old Blackrock village suburb.
The one-bed terraced hidey-home has just 430sq ft of space, already has a certain jaunty character, and any work can be done on a budget that won’t break the bank.
Fancy drylining walls or increasing insulation levels generally, or replacing the slate roof? This is so small, it could probably be done with off-cuts from a job being done on far bigger houses. A bit of selective skip-searching might unearth a lot for a place of this modest size.
