JUST how difficult it is out there in the market place for the food sector is never fully understood.

While the new emphasis on the consumer has added massive opportunities for development, it also brings its hazards. Retail is consolidating globally and the likes of Tesco and Wal-Mart are an increasing threat.

Wal-Mart is already in Britain through Asda. For those who don’t know, Wal-Mart employs over one million and has a computer system bigger than the Pentagon’s.
