New Docklands apartments

House builders Mountbrook Homes have been contracted for the sale of the last remaining site at Grand Canal Harbour in Dublin.

The builders were chosen by the Dublin Docklands Development Authority to develop 146 apartments and just over 10,000sq metres of commercial space.

Construction of commercial and residential space at Gallery Quay, Longboat Quay and HQ is proceeding rapidly.

The nearby luxury five star hotel, dramatically designed by Manuel Aires Mateus, is scheduled to be on site later this year.

Also announced recently was the appointment of the Devey Group as preferred bidder for the iconic Performing Arts Centre at Grand Canal Square.
