25 Irish graduates head for Far East

Twenty-five Irish graduates are heading off to the Far East on the FÁS Overseas Graduate Programme following the completion of the foreign language stage of their training.

The Overseas Graduate Programme was set up to give graduates a taste of international business experience. The graduates will be placed in full-time employment with 12 companies abroad for a two years.

FÁS assistant director general Patricia Curtin said the initiative had enhanced the career opportunities of participants.
